The IEEE DataPort™ Open Access Credit enables IEEE DataPort users to upload and publish a dataset as “open data,” making it accessible and available at no cost to all users of IEEE DataPort.
There is a growing global trend to make data available on an Open Access basis. Publishing data as Open Access may be a requirement for datasets associated with government-funded research.
IEEE DataPort users are always allowed to upload and publish their datasets (up to 2TB) at no cost, but if a user needs to publish their dataset as Open Access, you will need to purchase this product.
